HFH Healthcare case study

Client / Employer

HFH Healthcare
Complex healthcare provider operating across London and the South East, with over 400 employees.

Role

Marketing Coordinator

Overview

As Marketing Coordinator at HFH Healthcare, I was brought in to support the delivery of marketing activity across social media, our website, email marketing, events, internal communications, and digital reporting.

My role focused on helping HFH communicate clearly with commissioners, healthcare professionals, candidates, families, and internal stakeholders. I helped strengthen the organisation’s online presence, improve engagement, and support campaign activity across both complex care and recruitment.

A key part of my work was making marketing more tailored to our target ICP and their pain points, and performance-focused, ensuring activity supported wider business goals like brand awareness, event attendance, website traffic, and engagement.

The Challenge

HFH Healthcare needed marketing that was more focused on their ICPs and their specific pain points, that delivered strong outcomes for a lower budget.

Key goals included:

  • Improving brand visibility across all channels (FB, IG, LI, X, Google Ads)

  • Creating more consistent and engaging social media content that stopped the scroll

  • Supporting events and awareness campaigns to secure more interest from commisioners

  • Improving website content and user engagement: Better rankings for key SEO search terms such as ‘complex care’ and ‘spinal cord injury care’ and more on page optimisation

  • Helping communicate complex healthcare services in a clear way that resonates with our target audience

The overall goal was to build trust, improve visibility, and help HFH communicate its services more effectively, and ultimately, secure more leads.

My Approach

I supported marketing activity across several core areas:

1. Social Media and Brand Visibility

I managed and created content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X, focusing on tackling key commissioner pain points, such as regulatory and clinical compliance, social awareness posts, recruitment content for our hot jobs, key healthcare tips and event promotion.

The content strategy positioned HFH as a professional, caring, and knowledgeable complex care provider, while appearing approachable and personal.

This included creating posts around care services, awareness days, internal achievements, employee stories, events, and recruitment campaigns. By keeping content consistent and relevant, I helped improve the organisation’s visibility and engagement across key platforms.

2. Website and Content Support

I managed the HFH Healthcare website, using WordPress CMS, helping improve content across service pages, our blogs and articles, event pages, and campaign materials.

This included writing and editing website copy, uploading content (including blog/article posts) through WordPress, reviewing page performance, and supporting SEO improvements where possible.

The aim was to make HFH’s services easier to understand, improve the quality of online information, and help website visitors take clearer next steps, whether that was making an enquiry, learning more about complex care, or engaging with HFH’s content.

3. Email Marketing and Campaign Support

I supported email marketing activity using Outlook and MailChimp, used to promote events and increase attendance, share updates, communicate with our audiences, and support campaign follow-up.

I created email content, newsletters, event communications, and stakeholder updates. I also supported messaging that helped HFH stay visible with commissioners, healthcare professionals, candidates, and internal teams.

The focus was on making email communication bold, guiding them towards opening the e-mail, creating helpful content, and providing clear value for readers, with key information on how they can improve care outcomes for patients.

4. Events and Awareness Campaigns

I supported marketing activity around key healthcare events and awareness campaigns, including content creation, promotion, photography, videography, and post-event communications.

This helped HFH increase visibility around key topics within complex care, while showcasing the organisation’s expertise and commitment to high-quality care.

By supporting event promotion and follow-up activity, I helped improve engagement and attendance while strengthening HFH’s brand presence within the healthcare sector.

5. Photography, Videography and Creative Content

I supported the creation of visual content for use across social media, website pages, internal communications, and campaign materials.

This included photography, short-form video, graphics, brochures, flyers, and other marketing assets. Content was shot from an iphone, with a tripod and filming setup, and graphics were made in Canva. These materials helped make HFH’s marketing more engaging, more professional, and more consistent across channels, and was well received by our target audience.

6. Reporting and Performance Tracking

I supported marketing reporting by reviewing performance across social media, website activity, email campaigns, and digital content.

This included using tools such as Google Analytics, LinkedIn analytics, Buffer, and other platform insights to understand what content was performing well and where improvements could be made.

By tracking key metrics, I helped myself, and our Senior Leadership Team make better decisions and improve future activity based on performance.

Key Achievements and Impact
